As you journey downwards, a fresh ambience envelops you, and the sight of the crystalline water lures you into a tranquil swim.
The water in Saamal is clear, unveiling the underwater fauna and rock formations beneath the surface. Here, you can discover tiny fish and aquatic plants that have made the cenote their home.
More Than Just a Cenote
But the beauty of Saamal is not confined to its swimming hole. The Hacienda Selva Maya, where it’s located, is rich in history and nature. Ancient stone structures, well-kept gardens, and nature trails combine to form the perfect setting for exploration and enjoyment after a refreshing dip in the cenote.
